There is a rather easy way to freshen up an old storage hall and that is by replacing the cloth on it. The hall cloth has a service life of approx. 25 years, while the hot dipped galvanised steel frame has a considerably longer service life. By replacing the roof cloth and the gable end cloths, you obtain, in principle, a new hall in a short time for a small investment. If it is a PMH Hall on which you want to replace the cloth, we will have the drawings for it in our archive, which means we can easily get a perfect fit for the new cloth. If the hall is of another make, we solve it by means of our experiences sellers or fitters measuring up the hall for the manufacturing of a new cloth that fits.
The cloth has undergone development over the years, and the quality is better today. Today's cloths have a higher tensile and tear strength and are painted on both sides. Apart from a replacement of the cloth giving you’re a lift purely aesthetically, a new cloth also guarantees that snow and water run off easier. During cloth replacement, clothing tensioning components and any materials for sealing to the ground are usually replaced. A general inspection of the hall is carried out during a cloth replacement.
